If you haven't heard of it, the YotaPhone is an innovative new smartphone which has two screens. Russian maker, Yota Devices has placed a regular LCD screen on the front and an eReader style e-ink display on the back.The idea of the e-ink screen is that it's 'always on' so displays information without consuming energy. Battery power is only consumed when the image is changed. This means users can get notifications and information without using the power-hungry main display. Even if the phone runs out of power, the e-ink screen will still display whatever was last shown.

The YotaPhone was announced at CES 2013 so has taken its time arriving in the UK where is now available for £419 in the Yota shop. The smartphone launched in Russia, Germany, France, Austria and Spain in December 2013.
It's just in time as the firm said the YotaPhone would be on sale in the UK by the end of the first quater.
